After leaving the Army,

Carson worked in many different fields, he was a man of many talents and believed he could fix anything and if he could not fix it, he would say “It can't be fixed then.” Carson studied Business Administration at Kennedy King College and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant on and off for over twenty years. Well after his actual guitar playing days, Carson could always be seen playing air guitar to almost any music that was playing at the time. In 1998 Carson relocated to Wisconsin and continued to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant until 2001. After retiring from being a Nursing Assistant Carson settled in as a granddaddy and enjoyed playing football with his grandson and video games with his son in law.
