Florinda L Bryant

Florinda was born September 16,1968. She was the second child of Marvis O. and Andre Boswell. Although she was one of the oldest children,the entire family took delight in raising Florinda. The love and nurturing carried on through Florinda, who we affectionately called "Flo or Twiggy" as she became an adult. After meeting and falling in love with Derek Bryant, they were united in holy matrimony.Two wonderful children were born from this union, Derek Jr and Danzel. Her sweet spirit and caring manner didn't stop there. She shared it beyond her household  toward her nieces, nephews and thoughout her community of friends. She was an ever present "sports" mom. Whatever sport her children wanted to try their hands at from football to wrestling, she was there cheering them om from the side-lines. She was an amazingly dedicated mother until the end, in sickness and in health. Flo had a tremendous heart when it came to her friends and family. Her mortherly loved stretched far beyond her own children. Her nieces and nephews and even children of her close friends, were her pride and joy. In turn she was our pride and joy. She never spoke ill of anyone and displayed amazing grace as she dealt with her own terminal illness. Flo accepted Christ and was baptized at Anticoh Missionary Baptist Church. Flo departed this earthly place among family and friends on Sunday, December 27, 2015. May her soul rest in heaven.
