Juanita Johnson

October 15, 1933 — December 29, 2017

Juanita Johnson was born October 15, 1933 in Crawfordsville, Arkansas, to the union of Matilda and Isaiah Reeves (both preceded her in death).  She was the 2nd of 15 children.

Juanita attended Calvary Baptist in Chicago, Illinois where she served on the Usher Board.

Juanita loved to cook, she met her husband at the army base where she worked.  They married and later owned a restaurant in Chicago, for over 30 years, called Ms. Biscuit where she worked until she became ill.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband:  Robert L. Johnson; brothers: James, Ivory, Isaiah Jr., Rochester, Charles, John Henry, Donnie, Timothy, and Bobby; sisters:  Helen (who was still born), Ruby, Ossie, Glossie and Yolanda.

Juanita leaves to cherish her memory one brother: Knox Reeves, her Auntie Ruth Burnett and a host of nieces and nephews.

Juanita did not have children, but she helped a lot of people raise their children.  She loved kids and especially loved her nephew Treshawn Favors.

Juanita will truly be missed.
