Katrina Francesca Young - Hunter

Katrina Francesca Young Hunter was born on June 22, 1956 to Elroy F. and Johnnie Bonitta Young (both deceased) in Chicago, IL. Katrina received her formal education at St. Lawrence Grammer School, St. Francis DeSales High School and Chicago State University in Chicago,IL. Katrina accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age. She was an active member of the church and Girl Scouts of America. Katrina married Norman Hunter (deceased) on June 21, 1980. To this union, three sons were born, Norrell Matise Young Hunter, Norman Hayes Hunter Jr. (deceased) and DeMarko Marurice Hunter. Katrina made her transition on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Katrina's beloved bother and best friend Elroy F. Jr. preceded her in death. Katrina was an intelligent, funny and lighthearted woman who enjoyed life and will truly be missed by many. Here to cherish her memories are her children; Norrell (Chervon) and DeMarko (Gwen);one brother: Byron David Young (Natasha); ten grandchildren: Amir, Nyemiah, DeMarko Jr., DeMaiya, DaMariah, Nornique, DaMarcus, DeMarion, Ashanti and Daijah and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
