LIFE REFLECTIONS

Imagine in your minds with me, if you can, Sunday, December 10, 2017. Jesus stood in the Garden of Heaven talking with the disciples of God concerning Lawrence Roach. Jesus: Go and tell Lawrence Roach my Father said his work is done, come home! Disciple I: Lawrence Roach was loaned to Joe Roach and Lois Wilson on May 11, 1946 in Frankfort, Kentucky. He charged them to love, teach and care for Lawrence until his return to Him, and they did. Lawrence’s parents served not only as parents, but true friends to him with an overwhelming amount of love. Disciple II: The report states that in God’s quest to fill this vacant space, he requested a man, a young man full of energy, smart, one who came from a good, strong, loving home, one who was surrounded by not only sisters and brothers, but one who fathered children, one who knew the Lord, most importantly one who knew this world was not his home and would one day leave it. Disciple III: Lawrence was smart, his education was received at our Lady of Sorrow and went on to St. Phillips High School. He was employed by Per Mar Security Services and he formally attended Living Word Christian Center. His biggest ambition was to have a home, a nice home. Disciple IV: Lord as we depart to complete the whole will of God, are there any specific instructions? Jesus: Yes…Tell Sonya she did well, let her know Lawrence is not dead, and he did not die, he is simply waiting on her, here in the sky. Last but not least, leave the the will to pray with each member of this family. Now go! Disciple V: Missing Lawrence greatly will be his devoted wife: Sonya Phillips-Roach; his three wonderful children: Lawrence, Jr., Michael, and Jeron. He also leaves behind three grandchildren: Lawrence III, Kyron, Jeron, Jr.; his supportive brother: Sylvester (Mary), (Gerald, Donald and Michael have already gone home to rest); one compassionate sister: Beverly, Lisa (Earl), and Carolyn (Vince), (Jonell and Antoinette have also gone home to rest); a special friend and mother and father-in-law Shirley and James Phillips; a host of nieces, nephews, associates and friends who care. Jesus: The report has been read, the decision is final. Moments later… Disciple VI: Jesus, at the supreme request of God this 10th day of December, two thousand and seventeen, here standing before you is his son, Lawrence Roach. Jesus: Lawrence…Did you know someone far greater than myself loves you and everything concerning you concerns him? He’s made a place here for you. Lawrence: Jesus, thank you…in all my wrong doing, in all my earthly ways, you still loved me and now I’m home, home forever.
