Nike’s Life Reflections
MORENIKE KELLY was born September 14, 1990 in Chicago Il to Vicky Holt and Norman Kelly. She was the oldest of 6 children. She attended Kilmer Elementary School and Nichols Senn Metropolitan academy High School all in Chicago IL.
Nike received an Associated Degree from Harold Washington Collage and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern University both also in Chicago IL. Morenike was known by several different names to her family and friends. If you knew her by NU-NU than you were Family and she liked, you because she didn’t let everybody call her by that name.
NU-NU was known to her Kelly family to be “just like Norman” and if you know Norman than you know the world was in trouble to have two if them. If you knew her as MO’ than you were a friend. Mo’ was the Witty, sarcastic, no holding back, lovable person that you couldn’t get enough of. The friend that you can call on at any moment. Mo’ enjoyed posting on Instagram “cooking with MO” and her “Mug of the Day”. She would share photos of her Cat “Betty” who was like her child. There was NIKE (Knee-Kay) this is what everyone else called her. Nike was known to be bright, cheerier, spoiled and always happy to see everyone.
Nike would always want to laugh, joke and have a cocktail with you. She was a ray of Sunshine to whomever she met. Then there was Kotori Rose this was her Altar Ego; Kotori was very much into the DC Universe. She enjoyed them all, but Harley Quinn was her favorite. Kotori was who she was deep inside and she couldn’t let out on the regular this was a secret life. Morenike was an artist, Writer and a poet she shared many of her Paintings with her friends and family, just know that she loved you if you have one of her paintings in your house.
