Pastor Nancy Noyes,
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and faithful servant of God, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2025, at the age of 78. She was surrounded by love in her final moments and is now reunited with her husband, Jack Noyes, who passed away a year ago. Born on June 3, 1946, in Syracuse, New York, Pastor Nancy dedicated her life to faith, family, and service. She lived with love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to God’s calling. As a pastor, she guided so many through their spiritual journeys, offering wisdom, encouragement, and the love of Jesus to all who crossed her path. She was not just a shepherd to her church, she was a beacon of light, hope, and grace.
Nancy’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, always putting others first and leading with a heart full of love. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Whether it was through her words, her prayers, or simply her presence, she made everyone around her feel valued and cherished.
She leaves behind her children: William and his wife Natasha, Dennice, Eli, Ethan and his wife Stacy. Her grandchildren: Dametria, Chad, Sarah, William Jr., Brandon, Frank, Alexis, Jackie, Robert Jr., Nancy, Joshua, along with several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as many extended family members and a church family who cherished her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack and her mother Rosemary.
Her love, generosity, and the countless memories she created will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that she has gone home to be with the Lord and is now reunited with Jack. Today, we celebrate her life here at Lighthouse Church, a place she didn’t just serve she helped build. She preached, she prayed, and she loved with her whole heart. Her faith never wavered, and her words carried the power to uplift and inspire.
She was more than a pastor; she was a mother to this church, a guiding light, and a servant of God whose impact will never fade. Pastor Nancy’s legacy of faith, love, and kindness will never be forgotten. She lives on in the lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the faith that remains in all of us. We know she has heard the words: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
