Prell C. Madlock

Prell Cymone Madlock was born on August 15, 1965 in Batesville, Mississippi to Pearl Madlock and Roy Reeves. He was the second oldest of nine siblings.

Prell and family relocated to Chicago, IL in 1966. He attended Bryant Elementary School, Westinghouse and graduated from Jones Commercial High School.

After graduating he worked at UPS, Dominick’s Finer Foods, he later joined the work team for Jewel Foods where he worked until he retired in 2013.

Prell met the love of his Rhonda Fuller on June 16, 1987. They married two years later on May 5, 1989. To this union four children were born. Prell loved the Lord, he loved to talk and teach about the lord and was known by all for having a heart of gold, and a loving spirit.

Prell departed this life on February 8, 2025. He was proceeded in death by his father Roy C. Reeves, paternal and maternal grandparents: Isaiah & Matilda Reeves and Jessie B. & Hattie Mary Madlock. He leaves to cherish his loving memories: His mother Pearl Reeves, wife Rhonda Lynn Madlock, two sons Stephen & Jerrell Madlock, Two daughters Amber & Makalah Madlock. Six brothers: (Jacob, JC) Roy (Yemis), Vince (Rhonda), Derrick, Dwayne, Eric and Tommy Evans. Four sisters: Marshelia (LaVal), Jessica, Michelle and Markeba, Godfather: William (Billy)Sturgeon and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Prell will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.
