Terry Wilson was born in Chicago, Illinois in the year of 1957 on May 21st to the parents M.C. and Ceola- Lee Wilson. Terry (a twin), was the fourth born of six children: Mertice Marie, Diane, Carrie (Terry's twin), Maurice, Brian and his special brother/friend Willie Gunn, of forty-six years. His father preceded him in death. Schools Terry attended were Shakespeare and Overton Elementary, Forestville U.G.C., DuSable High School and he later attended Kennedy King College. Sports and music were what Terry enjoyed, but he was extremely passionate about swimming. As a youth he competed in swimming competitions, winning many ribbons, medals and first place trophies. His love for swimming enabled Terry to save the life of a drowning child while attending a family reunion. In 1981, Terri married Lanese Lee of Memphis, TN. From this union were born three children: Kufuo Kijani, Efrasa Basya and Jori Kedem. He loved his children with all his heart. Terry and his family moved to Atlanta GA, where he continued his studies at The Atlanta School of Massage Therapy. There, he became a licensed and certified massage therapist. Terry was a highly skilled deep tissue massage therapist professional. His clients considered him an artist of his craft and held him in high esteem; especially those with life-altering illnesses. As a teacher of Massage Therapy and an entrepreneur he honed his skills for over three decades. Terry’s last place of employment was Massage Envy, before his departure from this life on August 6th, 2020.
