Walter Clem Weddington

Walter Clem Weddington was born September 13, l952,inChicago, Illinois, to the late Willie and Alma Weddington. He was the youngest of nine children born to this union.

Walter professed his faith in Christ at an early age and was baptized at The Shining Star Missionary Baptist Church under the pastorate of the late Rev.Irving. Walter gave service to his country as a member of the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1977.

He was a kind and loving man, and was fondly known as The Governor, and The Real One, by family and friends. He was united in holy matrimony to Geraldine Daniels on April 9,2011 Walter leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Geraldine Daniels, two daughters , Melinda and Paula. His son Willie. Six grandchildren. Five sisters, Carrie Washington, Evangelist Dorothy Alexander, Inez Cureton, Iris (BeBe) Puckett, and Jacqueline (Jackie) Weddington. Several Stepchildren, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
